The Challenge
Healthcare providers monitor patients through photos and video every day: but the tools they use weren't built for it. Smartphone photos land in unsecured text threads, email attachments lose context, and visual data never makes it into the clinical record. Diagnostic accuracy suffers because providers compare images from memory rather than side by side over time. Remote patient monitoring needs visual data as a first class clinical input: captured correctly, transmitted securely, analysed intelligently, and stored compliantly.
“We're transforming visual data captured by any smartphone into critical health insights, powered by cutting edge algorithms and machine learning technologies.”Meghan Conroy, Founder & CEO
What We Built
An AI driven visual health platform that turns any smartphone into a Smart Medical Camera™. Computer vision gives instant feedback on image quality. AI algorithms analyse medical images and videos in real time: providing diagnostic insights, automatic time lapse healing comparisons, and biomarker discovery from visual data. All HIPAA compliant, all device agnostic, all asynchronous.
Smart Medical Camera™
Computer vision technology gives instant feedback on image quality, ensuring every photo and video captured meets clinical grade standards for diagnostic use.
Media Rx™
Text instructions and overlay tool for accurate framing: providers prescribe exactly what visual data they need, and patients capture it correctly the first time.
AI powered visual analysis
Machine learning algorithms analyse medical images and videos in real time, providing diagnostic insights, automatic time lapse comparisons, and biomarker discovery from visual data.
HIPAA compliant communication
Secure photo and video sharing between patients and the entire care team: asynchronous telemedicine that decouples medical care from time and location.
Automatic progress tracking
Media automatically organised and time stamped for easy visual progress tracking: providers see healing trajectories at a glance without manual comparison.
Device agnostic deployment
Works with any smartphone. No specialised hardware, no app ecosystem lock in: the camera the patient already owns becomes a clinical grade imaging device.
Outcome
CaptureProof has raised $6.15M from 29 investors including Techstars, United Healthcare Services, BBG Ventures, and AVIA. The platform has won 8+ major industry awards : MedTech Breakthrough's Best Store and Forward Imaging Solution, Accenture HealthTech Top Innovator (top 8 of 508), Singularity University's “Most Disruptive” MEDy Award, and the UHC Startup Challenge Grand Prize. The technology is trusted in peer reviewed studies, deployed globally including NTUC Health's fall risk screening in Singapore (2025), and protected by 3 granted patents in medical imaging AI.

Real world deployment
NTUC Health · Singapore
Fall Risk Screening (2025)
NTUC Health deployed CaptureProof's AI software to predict fall risks in seniors. The screening involves two tasks (standing up from a seated position and walking in a straight line) with video recordings analysed by AI to predict fall risk levels (high / moderate / low).
First piloted at NTUC Health's Boon Lay Active Ageing Centre in July 2025, with 63 seniors screened to date.
Why this matters
A San Francisco AI health company deploying fall risk screening with a Singapore national healthcare provider proves the platform works across geographies, populations, and regulatory frameworks. It's the kind of deployment that converts a product thesis into an enterprise proof point.

Lessons for enterprise, brands, scaleups & VC backed founders
What makes an AI health platform credible.
01
Patent the intelligence, not the camera
CaptureProof's 3 granted patents protect the AI: image quality detection, integrity and repeatability, and magnification systems. The camera is the patient's own phone. The moat is the algorithm.
02
Win the buyer's analyst, not just the buyer
CB Insights Expert Collection, Accenture Top 8, MedTech Breakthrough: when the analyst shortlists say your name, the enterprise procurement conversation starts warm.
03
Prove it in peer review
Peer reviewed studies across multiple specialties produce AI ready, high fidelity datasets. In regulated health, peer review is the marketing channel that procurement trusts more than any pitch deck.
04
Deploy globally to prove category breadth
NTUC Health in Singapore for fall risk, U.S. orthopedics and neurology, dermatology and chronic care: each deployment widens the addressable market and de risks the platform thesis.
